Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix

SELPHYL® PRFM is a platelet-rich fibrin matrix prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The preparation creates a fibrin matrix that supports and localizes platelets and their associated growth factors.

PRFM may be incorporated into an individualized aesthetic treatment plan for patients seeking improved skin texture, tone, and overall skin quality.

Unlike traditional PRP, PRFM forms a fibrin matrix during preparation. Your medical provider will determine whether PRFM is appropriate for your individual concerns and treatment goals.

PRP may be used as an adjunct to microneedling when your medical provider determines that the combination is appropriate for you.

Microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-punctures in the skin. When PRP is incorporated into the treatment, your provider will discuss the purpose of the combination and how it fits into your individualized treatment plan.
